Team Perth is a non for profit organisation that assist members from the Gay and Lesbian community participate in international sporting events hosted by the Federation of Gay Games or Outgames. Team Perth History
A little history about Team Perth.
Team Perth started in July 1987 when we had a visit from a member of the Federation of Gay Games Mr Paul Mart. While in Perth Paul asked me if I could arrange a meeting a sports minded people which I did, the meeting was held at Beechwood Guest House in Palmerston St Northbridge. About 40 people attended. Paul spoke about the Gay Games which had been held twice before in San Fransisco 1982 & 1986 they were being held in 1990 in Vancouver Canada. Nobody really took this seriously but I told Paul I would be there. I was there and called to account as to why there wasn’t a team from Perth. From there things changed I came home and took on the challenge of getting a team to New York in 1994.

We welcome all who want to participate in the Gay Games or Outgames to become a registered member. Membership will also make you eligible to receive substitutes for Team Uniforms and Team Pins. Click on the Read More link for more information.
